Dance Instructor

Tessa Fitzsimmons

Tessa Fitzsimmons has been dancing for eight years. Ballet has been her passion since she was very young, and while this has been her primary focus of training, she has studied other methods including pointe, tap, acrobatics, lyrical, jazz, and modern.

Tessa also loves the theater and acting and has participated in 27 plays and musicals since the age of seven. This past year she had the opportunity to dance with Madison Ballet’s The Nutcracker as a member of the Spanish Corps and as a Party Parent.  She also had the privilege of acting with the Verona Area Community Theater’s production of Disney’s Newsies, which involved a large amount of jazz and tap and as the mean girl Savannah in the Fort Atkinson Community Theater’s musical production of Disney’s Freaky Friday.

Tessa has lived in Milford, Wisconsin most of her life. As a dually-enrolled Senior in high school, she will also obtain her Associates Degree in Humanities at the same time she receives her High School Diploma.  She hopes to continue her advanced education in Theater and Dance, and is considering being a teacher of the arts. Tessa dreams to be in at least one show on Broadway someday! She is excited to join the RLAC Dance team and looks forward to nurturing and inspiring her students while teaching them the discipline and art of dance.
