Janelle started teaching group exercise and personal training about two years ago and loved the people she met. She loves being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. "I love sharing my love of fitness with anyone wanting to make a positive change in their life.  Whether you want to lose a few pounds or just increase your overall fitness, I'd love to help with that.  I truly believe exercise can be fun and enjoy helping others reach their fitness goals!"

Matt Polzin

Owner of Mobile Fitness

Through his own personal training business, Matt discovered RLAC and then has been here the past 4 years! Matt loves triathlons, running and push-ups.

High reps building long, lean muscles in this boot camp style class. You will complete different dynamic strength exercises with cardiovascular work in between.

Jess Mlsna

Adventure Time Coordinator- Group Ex Instructor

Group exercise Certification, CPR/AED Certified, CX WORX, Silver Sneakers Certified, Beachbody PiYo Certified Instructor, INSANITY Certified Instructor, YMCA Healthy Lifestyles Group Fitness Certified, and Body Pump.

Jess serves as the early childhood coordinator at RLAC as well as teaching. Group exercise was a love that turned into a job for her.



Boot Camp

Amanda Mertes. 

Amanda is from Illinois and has lived in Lake Mills for the past two years.  She is an elementary physical education teacher in the Monona Grove School district.  Amanda also coach cross country and softball for Monona Grove High School.  Fitness is her passion! She absolutely loves being active and helping to motivate others. Amanda enjoys running, being outside, and cuddling with her cat! She is a huge Chicago Cubs fan and baseball season is her favorite time of year!
 Amanda is teaching a bootcamp class here at RLAC and is really looking forward to it.  She loves group fitness because you don't just get a great workout in, you also find a group of people you can count on- to help you get through a tough day. Working out on your own isn't an easy thing to do- group fitness helps hold you accountable and makes those late nights or early mornings much easier to handle!  Amanda is really looking forward to working here and meeting all of the amazing people that workout here!
